Goober and Spring
My cat fetches. Really. He'll howl for springs and bring them to you to throw... not just once, but over and over. I tend to alternate between throwing them all over the apartment and pulling them out from under the stove, fridge and shelving.
If I wait till there are no more springs in plain view, then it becomes worth the effort of getting on the hands and knees to fish them out for him. Generally I'll find anywhere between 5 to 12 springs in any one location.
Sheesh. It makes him run though and has even gotten Maya interested in playing a bit again.
