Weekend Fun

Last weekend we went to Jeff and Jenny's place for a visit and to help with their volunteer work weekend. One of the projects was to finish the construction of the red eared slider turtle pond. Here, the pond is finished and five turtles are being released.

Before the fencing was complete, a number of frogs found the pond and moved in. More pictures can be found on the flickr group page.

The temperatures were hot and I got a bit of a burn on the shoulders but nothing a dip in another, larger, pond couldn't fix!
